Foreign Corresponding Banking (FCB)/Non-Bank Financial Institution (NBFI) Unit Supervisor

Min. 5 years of experience in banking. Proven experience overseeing and administering a system of internal controls and reporting as it relates to the BSA Department’s, Foreign Correspondent Banking (FCB) and related Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI). Experience overseeing and analyzing Foreign Correspondent Banking (“FCB”) accounts, Sub-accounts and Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) to identify any patterns of suspicious or unusual activity based on the transaction monitoring system generated Exceptions/Flags and manual periodic reviews. Experience creating a full report encompassing all observations made during a report analysis in a descriptive and articulate manner following the BSA Department Policy and ensuring that all analysis information is properly maintained, documented and indexed in the department’s internal folders/database. Good analytical skills including ability to detect patterns of unusual or suspicious activity. Proficiency in database manipulation required. Ability to create a full investigative report encompassing all observations made during a case analysis in a descriptive and articulate manner following the BSA Department Policy. Proficient in Microsoft (Outlook, Word, Excel) and bank systems such as LexisNexis, ChexSystems, ECS, Bankway, OFAC. Bachelor's Degree from any accredited University required or Certified by ACAMS/FIBA or equivalent job experience in the financial services industry. Bilingual English/Spanish verbal/written.

Staff Accountant

Min. 3 years of experience in accounting. Intermediate knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles. Required experience in accounting functions such as General Ledger entries, Accounts Payable, Fixed Asset Management, Prepaid Expenses, Periodic Accruals, Periodic Reporting (Internal/External and Filings), and Month-End GL Reconciliation. Ability to assist with the preparation and/or filing of periodic internal and external reports, including but not limited to Variance reports (Monthly), IOTA Remittance Report (Monthly), Abandoned Property Report (Annually), Estimated Tax Payments (Quarterly), Call Report Preparation (Quarterly). Financial Institution experience required. Good interpersonal and communications skills. Good organizational & time management skills are required. Proficient in Microsoft (Outlook, Excel). Bachelor’s Degree or above, and/or 3-5 Years of Accounting related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bilingual English/Spanish verbal/written.
